September 21, 2019 - The consecration of the Church Saint Matthew and Saint Great Martyr Hristina
With God’s help, St. Matthew and St. Martyr Hristina’s Parish has arrived now at the moment when the grace of the Holy Spirit is asked to descend and indwell our own church, which was built up between 2010 and 2018.
The crowning of the efforts and sacrifices that the members, founders, donors and benefactors of this Parish have made throughout 38 years of existence, will be materialized by the consecration of the church, to which we warmly invite you to take part.
Here below is the schedule of this important event:
- Friday, September 20, 2019: 6:00 pm – Great Vespers of Consecration - Saturday, September 21, 2019:
· 9:00 am - Consecration of the church followed by the Holy Liturgy
· 1:00 pm - Festive Banquet at Ukrainian Banquet Hall, at 1000 Byron Ave. Ottawa, K2A 0J3
· 6:00 pm – Vespers
· - Sunday, September 22, 2019: 8:30 am - Matins, followed by Holy Liturgy
