On November 12 & 13, 2022 we invite you raise together prayers of glory and thanksgiving to God on the occasion of a triple celebration:
- The Feast of St. Apostle and Evangelist Matthew, the Protector of our Church - the Fall feast.
- The 40th anniversary of the foundation of the Parish and
- The 30th anniversary of the Ordination of Father Grigorie Țăpuc as a priest.
The schedule is as follows:
- On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 5:30 pm, the Moleben will be performed by His Eminence Ioan Cassian, the Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Canada, together with the parish priest and other priests invited to the event.
After the Moleben, you will have the opportunity to worship the Holy Relics that will be brought to be honoured, in addition to the Holy Relics of St. Matthew the Apostle, St. Christina the Great Martyr and St. Peter and Paul the Apostles, which are already in the church.
- On Sunday November 13, 2022, His Eminence Ioan Cassian will perform the Divine Liturgy together with other priests who are invited. There will follow a prayer in the memory of the deceased founders.
The feast day will end with a prayer of thanksgiving for all the blessings God has poured out on the entire parish and on the 30th anniversary of Father Grigorie Țăpuc's ordination as a priest. All those who attend the Liturgy will be invited to a festiv dinner.
